The service at every level was outstanding, with a team that pulled in the same direction. The food was delicious, with a wide range of options and flavors. The location was stunning, surrounded by beautiful views of the countryside.

The staff does their best, but it can get very busy on weekends. The Caesar salad didn't quite hit the mark, but everything else was exceptional.

Located in the scenic Chiltern Hills, the Frog is a charming and cozy hidden gem. the surrounding countryside offers a peaceful and beautiful backdrop, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. the bar exudes a lively atmosphere, with friendly locals and a wide selection of drinks. the rooms are comfortable and impeccably clean, ensuring a pleasant stay. Guests can indulge in delicious meals from an interesting dinner menu, served with a friendly touch. Breakfasts are also a highlight, with options like a full English or a mouthwatering bacon bap.

Some staff members were not as attentive and welcoming as one would expect.

This countryside inn was the perfect romantic escape for my partner and I. We were impressed with the quality of the food, especially the fresh and tasty scampi dish. the service was great , from the friendly check, in to the excellent breakfast. the room was cozy and well, equipped, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the nearby farms , it was a great way to disconnect and relax. we loved that it was easy to access some of the nearby hiking trails and quaint villages.
